Obituary of Rita James

JAMES _ Rita Ann Rita Ann James (nee Pearson) of Calgary and formerly of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at the age of 75 years. She is survived by her loving children, Sharon (Ross) Winterbottom of Myrnam, AB, Jack (Sharon) of Lethbridge, AB, Scott (Marilyn) of Champion, AB, Guy, Curtis (Brenda) of Calgary, AB; brother Chris (Nelda) Pearson of Radford, Virginia and sister Evelyn (John) Atkinson of Houston, BC; eleven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Rita was predeceased by her husband Fred and her parents Henrietta and Albert Pearson. A special thank you to all the attending emergency and paramedic staff at the Peter Lougheed Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in Rita's name directly to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre (1331 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 4N2).
