Obituary of Rita-A. Nolan

Rita A. Olsen (nee Nolan), 84, died Aug. 7, 2013, at the Centara Norfolk General Hospital, Norfolk, Va. The funeral will be from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, N.J., on Monday, Aug. 12, at 9 a.m., thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington, for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Born in Jersey City, N.J., Rita lived in North Arlington before moving to Virginia Beach 15 years ago. She worked as a secretary for the State of New Jersey Office of Administrative Law in Newark, N.J., for 17 years before retiring in 1997. Rita was the beloved wife of the late Thomas; the cherished mother of Marilyn A. Quick and her husband, Robert, of Virginia Beach, Va., and the late Thomas Kevin Olsen; the adored grandmother of Robert, Thomas, Brian, and Colleen Quick; the dear sister of the late Patrick F., John J., Thomas H., and William P. Nolan, and Marilyn Ricciuto, and the loving aunt of many loving nieces and nephews.
