Obituary of Ruth-Mary Nugent

Ruth Mary Nugent, of Tarrytown, NY, died on October 27, 2004 at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center. Mrs. Nugent worked as a Nurses Aide for St. John's Hospital in Yonkers before retiring in 1984. Mrs. Nugent was born March 5, 1921 in Yonkers to Edwin and Elizabeth Tansey. Mrs. Nugent graduated from St. Peter's Grammar School and Commerce High School in Yonkers, NY. On September 18, 1948 she married Thomas F. Nugent Jr. at St. Peters Church in Yonkers. Locally she was a parishioner of Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown. She is survived by two daughters Elizabeth Moskowitz and Cecilia Nugent. Her sisters include Cecilia (Mrs. James Aitkenhead), Eileen (Mrs. George Wojtusiak), Jane (Mrs. James McCrudden). Cherished grandmother of five and great-grandmother of two. She was predeceased by her son Thomas Nugent III. Predeceased by her brothers George, David and Edwin Ira. Services will be private.
