Obituary of Octavia-Marie-Honey Pace

PACE, Octavia Marie Honey, 89, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died Thursday, January 16, 2003 in a lo-cal hospital. Mrs. Pace was born December 18, 1913 in Strawberry, AK to James and Lena Horn Honey, marrying Winfred Pace on August 23, 1933, who preceded her in death on September 13, 2001. Fu-neral services will be held Monday, January 20, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Alabama Heritage Funeral Home with Mrs. Pace's late husband's brother, Glen Pace of Searcy, AR, presenting the eulogy, Randy Medlin, pulpit minister of the University Church of Christ, assisting. Interment will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Survivors in-clude three sons, Martel (Doris) Pace, Montgomery, AL, Jerry (Dor-othy) Pace, Elyria, OH and Roger (Lu) Pace, Parma, OH; eight grand-children, Mark Pace, Pamela Wil-liams, Lisa Slaughter, Jennifer Dan-da, Chad Pace, Sherry Pace, Wayne Pace and Andrew Pace and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Pace was the last survivor of six children; she was a member of the University Church and a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.Alabama Heritage Directing
