MATTE, Mary – At the Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site on Tuesday June 29 th , 2010. Mary Margaret (Lafave) Matte of Pine Street ; age 49 years. Beloved wife of Bernard Matte. Loving mother of Claude Matte (Julie Savoie) and Bernie Matte (Helen Marsolais) both of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Nathan Matte. Beloved daughter of the late Louis Lafave Sr. and the late Kathleen (Flaro) Lafave. Dear sister of Florence Whitford (Moe), Kenneth Thauvette (Linda), Diane Bartch, John Lafave (Mary), Jordy (George) Lafave (Angel) and Gary Lafave (Viola) all of Cornwall. Predeceased by one brother, William (Billy) Thauvette and by one sister, Darlene Thauvette. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, West Branch, 20 Seventh Street West, (613-932-8482) from 2 p.m Sunday. Funeral Monday, July 5th, 2010 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. William’s Parish Church, Martintown at 10:30 a.m., followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m to 4 p.m and 7 p.m to 9 p.m on Sunday and from 9 a.m until the time of the Funeral on Monday.
