Obituary of Mary-E. Pease

MARY E. PEASE PORTAGE, IN Mary E. Pease, age 61 of Portage, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 at her home. She was born May 2, 1951 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Ella (Schultz) McClaran, who preceded her in death. Mary was married to Jim Pease, who survives of Portage, IN. Mary is also survived by her daughters: Linda (Mike) Callahan of Chesterton and Janice Jeffries-Meadows of Valparaiso; step daughter, Christin Pease of Gary; brother, Joseph (Eldonna) McClaran of Valparaiso; and grandchildren: Jake and Jessica Meadows, Alec and Ella Callahan, and Shawn Stack. Mary loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time gardening and listening to music. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN with Rev. Frederick Hoover officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at Heritage Crematory, Portage.
