Obituary of Mary-Betty Anderson

SHEEDY, Mary Betty 'Betsy, Betty, Grandma' It is with great sadness that the family of Betty Sheedy (nee Anderson), announce her sudden passing on February 3, 2004 at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital. Betty died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by the love of many of her family, including her devoted husband, Bill Sheedy, sons Andrew and Jeff, daughter-in-law Sandra and grandsons Jordan and Christopher. She was the dear sister of Roy Anderson of Nipigon and the late Reg Anderson of Thunder Bay. Betty was a cherished sister-in-law, aunt and great aunt to many in the Sheedy Clan. Betty's greatest joys were her two grandsons, Jordan and Christopher, her family and her friends. Betty showered us with her constant love and devotion. Betty was deeply loved by many and her wonderful presence will be missed by her family and friends. Special thanks to the caring and dedicated staff at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital, especially Trauma/ICU nurses Lorraine, Sandy and Leesa. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Baseline Road and Bayshore Drive) Nepean on Saturday, February 7, 2004 from 9 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 11:30 a.m. followed by a luncheon at the funeral home.
