Mother of Ann and her husband Bob Miller of Cambridge, Peter and his wife Chris of Brantford, Dr. Paul and his wife Ruth of Cambridge, John and his wife Chris of Brantford and Dr. Philip and his wife Pat of Brantford. “Nana“ was especially proud of her 19 grandchildren and was thrilled to have met her great-grandsons Ben and Joe. Mary was born in Peterborough and was 1 of 9 children. She graduated as a nurse during World War II. She and John moved to Brantford in 1949. She was first a wife and mother and became the perfect Nana, spoiling each of her 19 grandchildren. Mary was an enthusiastic and dedicated volunteer with many organizations over many years. She avidly followed the St. John's Eagles football teams in the 60's and early 70's, attending every game. Friends will be received at DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 on Wednesday, May 7th at St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church, 50 Palace Street, Brantford.
