Obituary of Martha-Margaret Wall

FRIESEN, Martha Margaret - April 15, 1925 - March 31, 2009 - The passing of Martha Friesen, age 83 years of Saskatoon, SK., occurred on Tuesday, March 31st, 2009 at Saskatoon City Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents Jacob and Elizabeth Wall, all of her siblings and husband Phillip Friesen. Martha is survived by her sons Murray (Iris), Kelly; grandchildren Shelley (Russ), Steve, Melissa (Terry), Melanie (Glen), Darryl; great grandchildren Nicholas, Brittany, Chelisse, Kristen, Magnum, Cash, Amanda, Dennis, Erica; sisters-in-law Marguerite Wall, Erna Wall, Gwen Wall and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Martha worked for Modern Press for thirty years. Her favorite past-time was watching and feeding the ducks by the airport. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 3rd, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in the Garden of the Old Rugged Cross. Please meet at Hillcrest Funeral Home (east on 8th Street, turn right before railway crossing). Donations in Martha’s memory may be made to the Charity of One’s Choice.
