Obituary of Martha-Annette Wilson

WILSON Martha Annette "Pat" Wilson, affectionately known as "Mamaw" passed away on March 30, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Wilson, in 1984. Side by side they worked to create Jack C. Wilson Roofing Company which, under their ownership brought residents quality roofing for over 35 years. She was a proud member of Southside Baptist Church, life-time member of Order of Eastern Star No.28 as well as the Garden Club of Jacksonville. Other memberships include Daughters of the Nile-Khem Temple #85, Al-Mars Court #100, Ladies Oriental Shrine of N.A. Wimdouis Club, Past Matrons of Southside Chapter. Past Grand Officer-Of Grand Chapter of Fla O.E.S, The Brushetts-China Painters. She had many friends who loved her and she loved them back. With strong spirit and a heart full of love, Mamaw inspired all who were fortunate enough to know her. Wife, mother, grandmother and great-grand mother, she inspired all of us to be better people. She was blessed by her most precious one, a daughter, Charlotte Annette Wilcox(Jack). As life went on, she was blessed again with grandchildren:Jacki Lundie(Terry), Ginger DiMaggio(Tony),Patti Griffis/Rod Fuller, Becky, Rachael and Carlos Wilcox. Dina and Calvin Mc Cormick, Gina and Mark Hogan. As life expanded, there were great grand children, Dixie Colpack(Eric), Toni Zumbar(Landon), Matt Coffelt, Alicia Tindle, Jasmine DiMaggio, Ian Fuller. Her most recent love was her great-great grand-daughter, Violet. Here is a lady who loved unconditionally. Because of her love, Mamaw asks that you send no flowers. Only send donations to a children's home of your choice. The family would like to thank Hospice of NE Fla and would like to acknowledge them as a worthy recipient of any donations. A viewing will be held at Naugle Funeral Home at 1202 Hendricks Ave. from 6-8pm on Monday 4/2/07. Graveside services will be at Oaklawn Cemetery at 2:00pm. on Tuesday, 4/3/07.
