Obituary of Marie Sylvia O'malley

Leominster, devoted mother and grandmother; 80 LEOMINSTER -- Marie Sylvia O'Malley, 80, of Leominster, died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Leominster Health Alliance, after an illness.Mrs. O'Malley was the daughter of the late Romeo and Yvonne (Albert) Malley. She was a 1948 graduate of St. Bernard's High school and a member of St. Leo's Church. She worked as a cook for St. Leo's Rectory for many years until her retirement. She loved to cook and have family gatherings.Mrs. O'Malley leaves a brother, Donald Malley and his wife Glenda of Leominster, five daughters, Mary Jane "Jeri" Jorgensen of Leominster, Kathleen Doiron and her husband James of Leominster, Colleen Loffredo and her husband Brian of Connecticut, Lori O'Malley and Amy O'Malley of Leominster, three granddaughters, Alysha Doiron, Meghann Doiron, and Brianna Loffredo. She was predeceased by her husband John O'Malley in 1989, her son John O'Malley Jr. in 1993, an infant son, Kevin O'Malley in 1968, and two sisters, Jacqueline Perla and Janice Chapman.O'MALLEY -- The funeral will be held from the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg, Wednesday, February 10, 2010, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Leos Church. Calling hours are Tuesday 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
