Obituary of Margie-Lee Jackson


Services for Margie Lee Jackson 83 of Bolivar are 1 pm Monday October 10 at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel in Bolivar. Burial is in Parrans Chapel Cemetery near Bolivar. She died Friday October 7 at Hardin County General Hospital. A native of Hardeman County she was retired as a dietary supervisor with Western Health Institute. She was born February 21 1922 the daughter of the late Jim and Alice Farris Smith lived all of her life in Hardeman County and was a member of Parrans Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter Janice Smithson of Saltillo; a son Kent Jackson of Jackson; two sisters Geraldine Hadley of Bolivar and Lillie Mae Hillard of Whiteville; two brothers Farris Smith of Lake Station Ind. and Otho Smith of Whiteville; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
