Obituary of Margaret-Mary-O-Brien Joy

Margaret Mary O'Brien Joy, 88, died Nov. 24, 2005, at the Hospice residence. She was born in New Haven, Conn., and lived in Vero Beach for 15 years, coming from Arizona. Before retirement, she was a registered nurse in the health care industry. Survivors include sons, Charles S. Joy of Palm City, Albert Joy of Vero Beach, Donald Joy of Hebron, Conn., Michael Joy of Berkeley, Calif., and Thomas Joy of Newbury Port, Mass.; daughters, Elizabeth Cherry of Phoenix and Carol LaVorgna of Tucson, Ariz.; sister, Kay Mitchell of Hamden, Conn.; 10 grandchildren; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Charles S. Joy Sr. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Foundation, 1201 S.E. Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. SERVICES: A memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date. Arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home, Stuart.
