Obituary of Margaret-J. James

October 25, 2007 Margaret J. James, 77, formerly of Pulaski, died Thursday at the Divine Gatehouse in Williamsport, PA. Born on June 5, 1930 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Joseph and Barbara Biama Chiado. She resided in Detroit and Livonia, MI before moving to Pulaski in 1972. She had resided in Montoursville, PA, since October 2004. Margaret graduated from Western High School in Detroit in 1948 and married William J. James on February 5, 1955. William died on April 17, 2003. She was employed by Century 21 Real Estate in Pulaski as a salesperson and was Director of Senior Nutrition Site in Pulaski. She was a member of Christ Our Light Parish, Altar and Rosary Society, the Friendship Shop in Sandy Creek and a volunteer at Pulaski Public Library. Surviving: three daughters, Laura A. McGrath of Thomasville, NC, Diane M. (Kevin) Carl, Donna M. Woodland all of Montoursville, PA; two sons, David W. (Sarah) James of Wilmington, NC, Michael W. (Elaine) James of Medford, NY; one sister, Rosemarie Mislak of Michigan; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday at Christ Our Light Parish in Pulaski with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
