Obituary of Margaret-Anne Henderson

ObituaryMargaret Anne (Peggy) Henderson age 81, of The Lakes, Fort Myers, FL (and formerly Jamaica Bay West, Fort Myers, FL) went on to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 13, 2003. Peggy was a faithful member of the Church of the Resurrection, where she and her husband, Jim, were ushers for several years. Her childlike faith in God gave her the strength she needed to endure hardship and suffering through the years. She never lost her sense of humour and fighting Irish spirit. Peggy and her husband Jim were residents of Circleville, Ohio, where they raised four children. Peggy is survived by her husband of 55 years, James; four children, Jerry (Les) Henderson (Pickerington, OH), Tami (Paul) Phillips (Reynoldsburg, OH), Mike Henderson (Circleville, OH, and Lisa (Jim) Holloway (Cape Coral, FL), a sister, Bette Hang (Circleville, OH), a sister-in-law, Ruth (Henderson) Myers (Celina, OH), six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. Peggy was preceded in death by her father and mother, J. Ross and Ellen (Carlowe) Phillips, her son, Jimmy Henderson and her brother, Robert 'Tiny' Phillips. Visitation will take place Monday, March 17th, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Kiser Funeral Home, 9231 Cypress Lake Dreive, Fort Myers, FL. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 21, 10:30 a.m., at the Church of the Resurrection, Cypress Lake Drive, Fort Myers.
