HENDERSON Marcus Andre Henderson, 26, died October 27, 2001, at Shands-Jacksonville, Jacksonville, FL. Marcus was born in Fernandina Beach, FL, November 16, 1974. He was a native of Yulee, but resided in Jacksonville for seven years. In 1992 he graduated from Fernandina Beach High School. He attended Bethune-Cook- man and Savannah State Colleges. He was a Member of St. James Baptist Church, Yulee, (Sandhill Community) FL. Survivors include his Father, James Elijah Henderson, Sr.; his Mother and Stepfather, Annie Mason Henderson Jordon and James Jordon, children, Marceciana and Marcus, Jr.; brothers, Jonah Henderson, James Henderson, Jr. (Karen), Floyd Ferguson (Kathy), Rod Kimble and Jackie Henderson; sisters, Tami Henderson Autry (Tony) and Vickie Roberts; Grandparents, Lucretia Mason, Eloise Jackson (Deceased) and Hilda Gilyard, Fiancee, LaTrece Brown; Aunts, Pearlie Mae Edwards (Rufus), Bernice Walker, Gladys Henry, Mary Henderson (Salathiel), Altamese Thompson (Javan), pat Harris (Alfonso), Melanese Jones (Gilbert) and Shirl Godwin; uncles, Rudolph Henderson, James Mason, Gary Mason (Mae), and Jackie Mason (Sheila); godparents, Mr. & Mrs. Merrick Albertie and Mr. & Mrs. George Mason; God brother, Marty Godwin; God sisters, Latrece Wilson, Chris Lewis, and Tamika Hill; and a host of special friends, cousins, relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Friday (Today) at St. James Baptist Church (Sandhill). Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2001, 11:00AM, at St. James Baptist Church, Yulee (Sandhill Community), FL. Interment will be in Brickyard Cemetery.
