Obituary of Lola James

Lola Jean McDaniel James, age 46, of 104 Third Street, died March 23, 2008 in the Greenville Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Edward L. James of the home; three daughters, Tasha McDaniel, Ayesha McDaniel of Fountain Inn, and Sagittarius James of the home; one son, Jacobi A. Tucker of Simpsonville; four sisters, Margaret Rainey of Fountain Inn, Cynthia Wells of Gray Court, Gladys Jean Rice, and Gloria Rice of Syracuse, N.Y.; six brothers, Richard McDaniel, George Lee McDaniel of Fountain Inn, Robert A. McDaniel of Spartanburg, William Rice, Odell Rice, and Billy Rice of Syracuse, N.Y.; her maternal grandmother, Daisey Lois McDaniel of Fountain Inn; paternal grandmother, Elouise Rice of Greenville; and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Golden View Baptist Church, with Rev. Sylvester Golden officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
