Obituary of Leocadia Adams

ADAMS, Leocadia (Lee) Theresa(née Grywacheski) October 11, 1933 - April 21, 2016With great sorrow we announce Lee''s passing after a courageous battle with many health challenges. Lee was predeceased by her husband, Adolph, mother Elsie, father Marian, stepmother Vonda, sisters Genevive and Geraldine, and brother Henry. Lee is survived by her children Linda (Martin) and Darrell (Cindy), grandchildren Theresa, Colin, Mark and Dylan, her sisters Cornelia (Lawrence) and Sheral (Tom), brother-in-law Lawrence, and sisters-in-law Annie, Stella and Shirley. Lee was born and raised in Norquay, Sask. After marrying Adolph in 1956, they moved to Winnipeg and then to Delta, BC in 1967 where they raised their family. Lee''s family was the centre of her life. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and they loved "Bobbie''s" perogies and her traditional Christmas Eve dinners. Our sincere thanks to SMH staff for their compassionate care in Lee''s last hours. Viewing on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 7-9 p.m., at the Arbor Chapel, Valley View Funeral, 14660-72 Ave, Surrey, B.C. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Parish, 8842 119 St, Delta, B.C., followed by interment and a reception at the Arbor Reception Lounge, Valley View Funeral Home, 14644 72 Avenue Surrey, B.C.
