Obituary of Leigh-Anne Thomas

FORT -->Leigh Anne Thomas FORT MILL, SC-- Mrs. Leigh Anne Thomas, 46, passed away at home on Thursday, November 20, 2008. A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2008 at Providence Presbyterian Church, 10140 Providence Church Lane, Charlotte, NC with Reverend Marcus G. Coker officiating. Burial will be private. Born in Downy, CA, to Jimmy and Helen Rogers, Leigh Anne grew up in Davidson County, NC. She graduated from UNC Charlotte and later earned her CPA certification. Her career included positions with the North Carolina Department of Revenue, Piedmont Natural Gas, and SouthStar Energy. Most recently, Leigh Anne was with the Corporate and Investment Banking Finance Division of Wachovia Bank. Leigh Anne and her family spent much of their leisure time enjoying the peace and tranquility of Edisto Island. Most recently, she organized and implemented a summer family reunion at Edisto. Her family will always cherish the wonderful memories this has provided. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of ten years, Headen Thomas of the home; her son, Ian Isenhour of the home; her stepdaughter, Amanda Wooten and her husband, Wayne of Fort Mill, SC; her stepson, Andrew Thomas of Rock Hill, SC; her mother-in-law, Susan B. Thomas of Rock Hill, SC; her brother, Eric Rogers and his wife, Leiann of Lexington, NC; two sisters, Terri Smith and her husband, Mike of Santa Maria, CA and Jennifer Buck and her husband, Rex of Greensboro, NC; brothers-in-law, Lee Thomas and his wife, Amy of Charlotte, NC, Cherry Thomas and his wife, Phyllis of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Alvis Thomas and his wife, Beth of Spartanburg, SC; her sister-in-law, Alice Faircloth and her husband, Tommy of Greenville, SC; and 19 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home.
