Obituary of Kenneth Alexander

ALEXANDER, Kenneth William Peacefully with family by his side at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the age of 88 years. Kenneth Alexander of Pembroke, formerly of Alexandria, Ontario and original owner of White Pine Lumber; beloved husband of Patricia Alexander (nee Kidd), Pembroke. Loving father of Leslie Chamberlain (Roger), Muskoka; and Sheila Alexander (Dave Legault), Brockville. Poppa Ken to Anna (Nate Smith), Graham, Fraser, & Bromley Chamberlain; and Nicholas Legault. Predeceased by sisters Isobel Lumsden (late Gordon), and Marjorie McGilvray (late Jim). Ken will be fondly remembered by his nieces & nephews; and sadly missed by his cherished cat Maggie. Respecting Ken's wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held in the Chapel at the Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St., Pembroke on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. (As an expression of sympathy, donations to Calvin United Church or the S.P.C.A. would be appreciated.)
