Obituary of Keith Cowden

Keith Cowden September 8, 1958 - December 18, 2015 It is with great sadness that the family of Keith "Butch" R W Cowden announces his passing on Friday December 18, 2015 after a brave battle, at the age of 57 years.Butch will be missed but lovingly remembered by his wife Deborah, his children, Terrina and Michelle and his granddaughter Briella, whom "Goopa" adored. Butch will also be fondly remembered by his mother Juanita (Paul), father Keith Sr. (Betty), his sisters, Wendy (Bill) and Tammie (Kevin) and brothers Jimmy (Joey) and Willy (Leonie), his stepchildren Jennifer, Chris (Sara) as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Butch was predeceased by his sister Beverly.Butch enjoyed his 26 year career as a Marine Engineer in the Royal Canadian Navy; he retired in 2007 as a Chief Petty Officer and was no nonsense, gets it done kind of guy. He continued his career as a well respected Mechanical Engineer until his passing. At Butch's request there will not be a service. In lieu of flowers, those who so desire, may make memorial donations in memory of Keith to the BC Cancer Agency.
