Obituary of Kathleen O-Meara

O'MEARA, Kathleen Theresa1925 - 2012Passed away in hospital, with family at her side, following a brief illness, on Friday, January 6th, 2012. Beloved widow of Dr. Bernard Brian O'Meara (deceased 1971), devoted mother of Maureen, Christine (Maurice Graffin), Michael, Bernard (Judith Friend) and Edward (Janet) and loving grandmother of Bernard and Sean, Kay also leaves to mourn her sisters, Norah (Cliff McAuley) and Elizabeth-Ann Flynn, and many nieces and nephews. Kay was predeceased by her brother Eddie McCabe. Resting at Racine, Robert & Gauthier, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa. Visitation from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, January 9, 2012. Funeral Mass at St. Clement Church, 87 Mann Avenue, Ottawa, at 1:30 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2012, followed by interment at Notre-Dame Cemetery, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers., donations to St.Clement Parish or Élisabeth Bruyère Palliative Care would be appreciated. Kay and the family wish to thank the nurses, doctors and staff who cared for her and for us.
