Obituary of Katie-Lee Jackson

JACKSON, Katie Lee, 95, a resident of Elba Highway, Troy, AL, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at Edge Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held from Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Friday, April 19, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend David Keeney officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memorial Park, Troy, Alabama with Dillard Funeral Home Troy Directing. Survivors include sons, Buddy (Nancy) Jackson, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Charles (Annette) Jackson, Oneonta, Alabama; daughters, Dorothy (Gene) Free, Prattville, Alabama, Pat (Leo) Harden, Orange, Virginia, Barbara (Kenneth) Motes, Troy, Alabama and Sara (Cliff) Carroll, Pine Level, Alabama; sisters, Mary Bassett, Troy, Alabama and Edna Huggins, Troy, Alabama; brother, Charles Lee, Troy, Alabama; 24 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband, W. A. Jackson and a daughter, Mary L. Holmes. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the building fund of Mrs. Jackson's church, Green Drive Baptist Church in Troy.
