Obituary of John-Patrick Keri

John Patrick Keri 91, on April 24, 2008 of Mahwah. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Jean Keri (nee Straut). Loving father of Karen E. Keri of Mahwah, NJ, Christopher Keri and daughter-in-law Norma Jean of Washington Township, NJ, and Jeffrey Keri of Mahwah, NJ. Adored grandfather of Brian and Jennifer. Dear brother of the late Andrew, Bernard, Julia, Sue, Mary and Elizabeth. John is also survived by many generations of loving nieces and nephews. John was an avid golfer and fisherman and longtime member of the Monroe Country Club. He is a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army Air Corp. John worked in the Mahwah Post office for 33 years, mainly as the friendly face behind the counter. He is a lifelong resident of Mahwah and parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Mahwah. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday April 28, 2008 at 10 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church in Mahwah. Interment will follow at Mahwah Cemetery.
