Jeffrey "Jeff" Mark Urbain, 47, Aldrich, Mo., departed this life on January 21, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. Jeff was born on June 18, 1958, in Davenport, Iowa. He was a master carpenter. Jeff lived and worked in Ill., Texas, Colo., Alaska and returned to Mo. He built schools, cabins, and homes throughout all of these states. Jeff was of strong character, honest, a loyal friend, with a gypsy soul. He was brave and unselfish, and did not want to worry friends or family with his illness. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his best friend and soul mate, Gail Buckley and her children, Audra-Anne, Joseph and David one brother, Joseph P. Urbain and Gaylen Moore of Bois D'Arc, Mo. two sisters, Linda and Greg Chambers, Roseville, Calif., and Kathleen and Craig Nelson of Nixa, Mo. nieces and nephews, Josh Nelson, Kimberly Brown, Matthew and Emily Chambers, Curtis Moore, Jennifer and Christine Urbain, Donnie and Mindy Rankin and Julie Crawford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph B. and Gladys E. (Sawyer) Urbain half sister, Carol Rankin nephews, Brandon Moore an Blaise Brown. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2006, at 11 a.m. in Clear Creek Cemetery with Rev. James Thomas officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Wilson Brim Daniel Funeral Home, Ash Grove. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, January 25, in the funeral home where the family will receive friends.
