Obituary of Jean-M. Kearney

Jean Marie (Kelley) Kearney, age 71 years, of Middleboro, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Jordan Hospital, Plymouth. She was the wife of the late Robert M. Kearney, who predeceased her Nov. 13, 1979. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Alan and Frances (Rankin) Kelley. She was educated in the Boston school system. She was a certified nursing assistant (CNA), having worked at the former Green Pastures Nursing Home, and the Forest Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Middleboro. Survivors include one son, Michael J Kearney of Middleboro; two daughters, Deborah A. and her husband Keith Frigeri of Norton, Kathleen M. and her husband John Brady of Freedom, N.H.; three brothers, Donald Kelley of Kingston, Marshall Kelley of Stoughton, Michael Kelley of Boston; seven grandchildren, including Michael David Kearney, who lived with her; a great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. She was mother of the late Karen M. Stanley. Visiting hours will be held Friday, May 20, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Ashley Funeral Home, 35 Oak St., Middleboro. A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, May 21, at 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, 340 Centre St., Middleboro. Burial will take place in St. Marys Cemtery, Middleboro.
