Obituary of Jane-Howell Sims

ELDRIDGE Jane Howell Sims, age 80, of Eldridge, died Sept. 21, 2008. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Eldridge Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Old Union Cemetery with Miles Funeral Home of Winfield directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.Survivors include her son, George Dell (Janice) Sims, Jr. of Eldridge; daughters, Mary Jane (John) Cagle of Conway, Ark., Susan (Mike) Everett of Florence, Elizabeth (David) Phillips of Tuscaloosa, and Barbara (Bill) Burke of Florence; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Dr. James S. Howell of Charleston, S.C.; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Eldridge Baptist Church or Hospice of West Alabama Inpatient Care in Tuscaloosa.
