Jan "Toto" Gaillard SPARTANBURG, SC-- Jan "Toto" Gaillard, 84, of Spartanburg, SC, died Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home. Born April 9, 1930, in Haiti, he was the son of the late Sumner and Eugenie Viard Gaillard. Mr. Gaillard was a member of Jesus, Our Risen Savior Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Assembly #1655. An avid photographer, and world traveler, he was retired from Air France and Spartanburg School District 6. Surviving are four children, Jan Gaillard (Nancy) of Pittsford, NY, Reginald Gaillard of Dallas, TX, Dominique Lehman (Richard) of Palm Bay, FL, and Yann Allain (Justine) of Montreal, Quebec, Canada; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nicole Gaillard of Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco, Haiti, and Claudette Gaillard Cabrera (Hector) of Guatemala City, Guatemala; and extended family members, Joseph "Joey" Harrelson (Anna) and their children, Hannah and Greyson, all of Spartanburg, SC. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Roger Gaillard, Serge Gaillard, and Robert Gaillard. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 9:00 AM Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Jesus, Our Risen Savior Catholic Church, 2575 Reidville Rd., Spartanburg, SC 29301, by the Rev. Ted Kalaw. Private entombment, at a later date, will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Heritage Chapel Mausoleum. An online guest register is available at www.floydmortuary.com.
