Obituary of James Wise

JAMES WISE, 87 WINTER HAVEN - Mr. James Wise, age 87, died of natural causes Wed-nesday (May 30, 2012). Born in Limestone County, AL, on July 4, 1924, he came to the Winter Haven area from Northern Alabama in 1954. He was a member of Eloise Church of Christ. He was lovingly known as "Papa James" by grandchildren and known as "Watermelon King" by friends and associates. Mr. Wise is survived by his wife Lucille Wise; children: Judy Wise Brayton (Pat), David Wise, Martha Wise Welch (Todd); grandchildren: George, Jamie, Gina, James, Alan, Robbie, Michelle & Johnnie; 18 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday, 6/2/12 from 10-11am followed by the service at 11am at Steele's Family Funeral Services, Winter Haven. Burial will follow at Church of Christ Cemetery, Eagle Lake, FL.
