Obituary of James-Lee Ray

JAMES LEERAY, 74Supervisor LAKELAND - Mr. James Lee Ray, 74, passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 2009 due to renal failure. He was born in Winona, MS and moved to Lakeland from Greenville, MS in 1994. James was a meat packing supervisor for Swift and Company for many years. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Anthony Ray in 1994. James is survived by his wife of 53 years, LaVerne Ray, son, James (Lynn) Gregory Ray, daughter, Terry (John) Campbell all of Lakeland, brother, Harold Ray of Memphis, TN, grandchildren, Christopher Wilson, Cassie Smith, Shawn Ray, Tommy Thomas and 9 great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted, Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009, 10:00am at Oak Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to, Muscular Dystrophy Assoc., 3450 E.
