Obituary of James-Edward Watkins

JAMES EDWARD WATKINSJames Edward Watkins, age 55 of Pensacola passed away Sat., Jan. 17, 2009 at a local hospital following a sudden illness. James was born to the late Jessie Mae Snow and Herbert Lewis. James is survived by his son James Watkins, Jr. and grandson Kamarian Watkins of Pensacola; four brothers John Watkins of Bronx, NY; Johnny (Linda) Watkins of Manhattan, NY and Willie Warren and Anthony Bassett of Pensacola; four sisters Annie Roberts and Carolyn Watkins of Pensacola, FL; Gwendolyn (Gerard) Milhouse of Anniston, AL; Alfreida Freeman of Natchez, MS and Alice Watkins of Atlanta, GA. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Sat., Jan. 24th, 2009 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Rev. Paul A. Blackmon, Sr. will officiate. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Public viewing will be Fri., Jan. 23, from 12-9p.m. at Joe Morris Funeral Home.
