Obituary of James-Daniel Thomas

THOMAS James Daniel "Dan" Thomas, born October 2, 1946, passed from our sight into the Loving Arms of His Lord August 17, 2005 at his home, surrounded by his family. Dan's strong faith in His Lord Jesus has now become sight. Dan never met a stranger and never hesitated to boldly share his faith with those he met. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a smile and laugh we will never forget. He loved deep sea fishing and hunting and was a Florida Gator fan through and through. Dan was always there for those who needed him and would do whatever he could to help in difficult times. His family and friends rejoice in knowing that he now has a new body and is walking hand in hand with our wonderful Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Karen, two sons; Daniel and Alan; three daughters Amy, Laura and Priscilla; Five grandchildren; Haylie, Corey, Kyle, Alex and Bailey; his mother Kathleen; his sister Sherry, his brother John and his sister Esther. A memorial service in celebration of Dan's Life will be held at Midnight Cry Ministries; 1371 Hammond Blvd., Jacksonville, FL on August 20, 2005 at 4:00 p.m. The arrangements for the Thomas family are under the care and direction of V.
