James D. He was a native of Franklin County and a member of the Baptist Church.He was preceded in death by parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pace; son, Wayne Pounders; and stepmother Lucille Pace.A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, at Pounders Cemetery. James McCullar will officiate the funeral.Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 7 from 6-8 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville.Survivors include wife, Oma Dell Pace, of Spruce Pine, Ala.; sons, Greg Pace and wife, Penny, of Moulton, Ala.; daughters, Mary Jo of Florida, Linda and husband, Larry Nunez, of Jacksonville, Fla.; Virginia and husband, Roger Roberts, of Selma, Ala.; brother, Barry and wife, Dianne Pace, of Russellville, Ala.; sister, Joette Johnson and husband, Leo, of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
