Obituary of Judith-M. Kenney

Memorial services celebrating the life of Judith M. Kenney, 70, of Palm Coast will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church, 101 Pine Lakes Parkway, Palm Coast with Rev. William Douthwaite officiating. Mrs. Kenney was a resident of Palm Coast for the past 7 years coming from Houston, TX. On Wednesday, May 25, 2011, our beautiful, brave, most beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, FL. She was born in Schenectady, NY June 13, 1940, the daughter of the late Earl Paul and Ida Kasowski Stellwagen. She attended Shepherd of the Coast Lutheran Church. She worked for Travelers Insurance for several years before retiring in Florida. Judy enjoyed cooking, playing poker and gardening. But most of all, she enjoyed life and being around her family and friends. Nothing put a smile on her face more than sharing her life with those around her. Her family and friends will cherish her memory forever and she will live on through the hearts of those who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, John F. Kenney Jr; a daughter, Cheryl Dotson and her husband Jeff of Palm Coast; a son, Richard Michael Hollner of Jacksonville, FL; a grandson, Leonard Ray Frazier, Jr of St. Augustine; a brother, Earl E. Stellwagen and his wife Delores of Houston, TX. She is also survived by several cousins. When she married John in 1983 she gained two daughters, April Fristche of Conroe, TX, Loretta Krolczyk and her husband Elliot of Katy, TX; and a son, Joseph Kenney and his wife Kelly of New Braunfels, TX; and several grandchildren and great-grand-children.
