Obituary of James-W. Hair

HAIR, JAMES W., 82, died Saturday, April 20 at his home. Mr. Hair was born in Barnwell, SC, on February 22, 1920 to Melvin L. Hair, Sr. and Bessie Warren Hair. He moved to the Central Florida area in 1926 from Barnwell. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Kissimmee. He served in the Army during WWII where he was awarded the Purple Heart. Mr. Hair is survived by his wife, Delcie McBee, St. Cloud; sons, James L. Hair, St. Cloud, Richard K. Hair, Yukon Territory, Canada and David W. Hair, St. Cloud; daughters, Carol Lee, St. Cloud, Diane Pinkert, St. Cloud, and Jody Monhollen, Kissimmee; brothers, Melvin L. Hair, Jr., Orlando, Burton Hair, Oakland, FL; sisters, Barbara Strobak, Orlando, Margo Greenwell, Alton, IL, Betty Green, Logansville, GA; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am, at the Bible Baptist Church, Kissimmee with Pastor Joe Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Orlando.
