Obituary of Irma-Germaine St. -Romain

BRIDGES, MRS. WARREN THONSSENNEE IRMA GERMAINE ST. ROMAIN She died on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2005, at her residence in Baton Rouge. She was 80 and a native of Mansura. She was a former legal secretary with Breazeale, Sachse & Wilson. Visiting at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., on Tuesday, Jan. 25, from 1 p.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 2 p.m. celebrated by the Rev. Miles Walsh. Entombment in Green Oaks Memorial Park Mausoleum. Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah Bridges and Mark Paul Wamsley and Colleen Bennett Singleton; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Warren and Kerri Paterson Bridges; brother, Conrad St. Romain; three granddaughters, Candice Louise Bennett, Charlotte Rae Bennett and Alleen Rene Singleton; and two great-granddaughters, Skylar Bennett and Paige Bennet. Preceded in death by her husband, Warren Thonssen Bridges; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.B.O. St. Romain; and two brothers, Ferreol St. Romain and John B. St. Romain. The family would like to thank her loyal and devoted caregivers; Ida Mae Lee, Cynthia Dixon, Tangla Mills and Anna Wilson. Pallbearers will be Wayne Hirschey, Barry Rester, Andy Batson, David Powell, Pete Bertrand, and Wilfred J. St. Romain. Honorary pallbearers will be Winston Rester, Paul Wamsley, Robert Huck, Walter Abadie and Roark St. Romain.
