Obituary of Henry Baillargeon

Henry A. Baillargeon, 76, of Terryville, died April 7, 2007, in Bradenton, Fla. He was born Dec. 30, 1930, in Hartford. He was the son of the late Henry V. and Alma (Rancourt) Baillargeon and had been a resident of Terryville since 1970. He was the co-owner and operator of B & T Contractors, was a mason for many years and retired from the former New Departure Co. of Bristol. He was a member of the Terryville Polish Club, the Moose Club in Florida and he participated in the oxen draws at local fairs. He is survived by his son, Richard Baillargeon, of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; his two daughters, Lori Barry, of Torrington, and Linda Velardo, of Terryville; his four brothers, Arthur Baillargeon, of Southington, Roland Baillargeon, of Terryville, Norman Baillargeon, of South Carolina, Robert Baillargeon, of Georgia; his sister, Joan McBain, of Plainville; his two grandchildren, Chirstopher and Ryan Barry; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held April 14 at the Scott Funeral Home, Terryville. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, Terryville.
