Greg served in the US Air Force in Vietnam and was a member of Advent UMC.Greg is predeceased by his parents, Lee Otis and Martha Hill Patterson. He is survived by Rhonda Ledford Patterson, his wife of 46 years, by his two children, Robert Patterson and Sherri and Tracey Patterson Marks and her husband Ben Marks; and by his two grandchildren Justin Garraux and Natalie Greenig.Also surviving are six siblings: Charles and Glenda Patterson, John Patterson, Jimmy and Becky Patterson, Lenell Johnson, Nan and John Deegins, Betty and Tom Spering. A memorial service will be Saturday, 8/9/14, at 2pm, at Advent United Methodist Church, 2258 Woodruff Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681. The family will receive friends following the service from 3pm-5pm.
