Withers, Gloria J.Feb. 25, 1938 - Apr. 3, 2013Gloria J. Withers, 75, of Sarasota, FL, died on Apr. 3, 2013. Funeral arrangements by: Toale Brothers Funeral Home.Born in New York, New York, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Withers and Hazel Hall Withers. Gloria was a Pharmacist and worked for several years at Brooklyn Jewish Hospital in New York and at Manatee Rural Health Services. She is survived by her cousin, Anne Evans of Sarasota and her niece, Barri-Ann Ruffin of California.A celebration of her life will be held 10 AM, Saturday morning at Toale Brothers Funeral Home - 40 North Orange Avenue.Memorials may be given to The Human Society of Sarasota - 2331 15th Street, Sarasota, Florida 34237.
