Obituary of Gladys-Louise Thomas

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Graveside services for Gladys Louise Thomas of Augusta will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Monday, July 28, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Mrs. Thomas entered into rest Friday, July 25, 2008 at Heartland Hospice in Augusta. She was born in Nashville, TN and was the daughter of the late Alvice Clinton and Hushel Myatt Wright. Mrs. Thomas was a bookkeeper (RET) and homemaker. She was raised and baptized in the Church of Christ. An avid rose gardener, she was also a talented seamstress and a long-time fan of ice skating. She is survived by her loving family, a son, Walter Thomas of Grovetown; a daughter, Wanda Thomas of Berkeley, CA; a brother, Bobby Wright of Americus; two grandsons, Jacob Thomas and Joey Thomas of Augusta; several nieces and nephews, Brad, Sharon and Bradley Wright, and Bryant and Ben Musselwhite, all of Vienna, Richard Wright of Dixon, TN, Gwen Mann of Cookeville, TN and Marilyn Brannon of Grand Prairie, TX. She was preceded in death by a brother, James Wright and nephews, Jimmy Wright and David Wright.
