Obituary of Gertrude James

Gertrude James of BinghamtonGertrude James, 71 of Binghamton, passed away Sunday evening, March 24, 2002 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Luther James. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Elaine James, Tampa, Fla.; three sisters, Theresa Williams, Arizona, Betty Nixon, S.C., Mary Wilk, Pa.; one brother, John Jackson, Maryland. She was a retired employee of Endicott Johnson Corp., Johnson City. Funeral and committal services will be held at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Thursday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Mitchell Trigger, co-pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Binghamton will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Park Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m.
