Obituary of Garold-Eugene Anderson

ANDERSON, GAROLD EUGENE "ANDY" "BUTTERBALL," 80, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at Park Terrace. He was a native of Iowa. He had worked in maintenance for the Old Fitzgerald Distillery, was an Army veteran and and belonged to the Men's Club at St. Paul's Catholic Church where he was a member. . He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Bertha Anderson; and his wife, Mary Elaine Anderson. He is survived by his children, Nick Anderson, Rick Anderson (Janet), Carolyn Bickett (Jackie) and Rusty Anderson, who also cared for him. He is also survived by nine grandchildren. His children would like to thank those who cared for him, including the staff at Park Terrace and those who cared for him at home. His funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Monday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 6901 Dixie Highway, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held 2-8 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
