Obituary of Frederick Thomas

THOMAS, FrederickIt is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Fred Thomas, on Tuesday December 31, 2013 in his 72nd year at the Pontiac Community Hospital. Son of the late Lennon Thomas & Alfredda Elliott. Loving husband of the late Fran Cloutier, treasured stepfather of Val Brohart (Brian Brohart), Kim Stevens, Debbie Gierman (Garry Gierman), Maurice Lapierre, John Lapierre, and Greg Lapierre. Dear brother of Robert Thomas (Shirley Eckford), cherished Uncle of Kirk Thomas and Kelly Thomas (Diana Freitag). One of Fred's hobbies was his car collection and he could often be found out at antique car shows or driving one of his many cars. Friends may call at W. J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, 134 Centre St. Shawville, Quebec on Friday, January 3, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Saturday, January 4 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment will take place in the Spring in Maple Grove Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the Pontiac Community Hospital.
