ZIMMERMAN - On December 8, 2007, the spirit of Frank P. Zimmerman of Regina returned to the communion of his Lord and family. He is predeceased by his father Franz, mother Frances, and siblings Pauline, Mary, Vicki, Anne, Ted, Louis, John, Charles and Joseph. Left to mourn Frank are his sole remaining brother, Ambrose of Hamilton; his brother-in-law, Mickey Malloy of Regina; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends that he held so dear. Frank's core values centered on his Catholic faith, his extended family, and his earnest commitment to altruism. His devotion to God was steadfast. His generosity to kin and friends were beyond measure. He put his faith to work by supporting many charities, so that people in our country and beyond could live with dignity, free from want. Frank never spoke ill of anyone; he recognized the essential grace and humanity that resided in all who knew him. Frank never complained of any challenge that beset him, and his faith sustained him throughout life. In God's holy keeping he will reap the eternal reward of the faithful. Frank was wise, honest, perceptive, funny, warm and tenderhearted. He loved his God and family without reservation, and received that gift in return. He will not be forgotten. Prayers will be held at Lee Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, December 13, 2007. The Funeral will be held at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 2026 Winnipeg St., at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, December 14, 2007. Interment at Riverside Memorial Park to follow. Donations to the charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
