Obituary of Francis-T. Kendall

FRANCIS T. "FRANK" KENDALL, 85Flight Instructor WINTER HAVEN - Mr. Francis T. "Frank" Kendall, age 85, died of cardiovascular disease Sunday (March 8, 2009). Born March 10, 1923 in Columbia, S.C., to Emmala Thomason Kendall and Francis Drake Kendall, Jr., he came to Winter Haven from Georgia in 1951. He was a Naval Aviator flight instructor with multi-engine, instrument and jets, serving at the Pentagon. He also served in WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven, FL. Mr. Kendall is survived by his sons: Francis (Tom) Kendall, Jr., MacDonald (Mac) Kendall, both of Winter Haven. A private memorial service was held by the family. Steele's Family Funeral Service, Winter Haven.
