Obituary of Francis Syms

SYMS, Francis "Harcourt" passed away on Nov. 1, 2013, at the age of 80 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He fell in love with art and started collecting from Europe in the early 60's. He was also the founder of Collector's Corner in Toronto. In 1985, he packed up his family and moved to Florida, where he started the Florida Fine Art Museum Corporation with his two daughters. His dream for an actual museum was never realized, only started. He is survived by his two daughters & their families. Per Harcourt's lifelong wishes, his body was donated to science in Toronto. In memory of a man who walked to a beat of a different drummer with passion and conviction we all wished we could possess.
