Obituary of Florian St-Aubin

ST-AUBIN, Florian “Flobine“ - (1933-2009) - The family announces with sorrow his death, Monday, May 11, 2009 in Sturgeon Falls, at the age of 75 years. Son of the late Albert and the late Germaine St-Aubin (née Piquette). Loving husband of Pauline St- Aubin (née Boisvenue) of Sturgeon Falls. Loving father of Richard (Nicky) of Crystal Falls, Bibiane Scherman (late Brian) of Sudbury, Lise C Boudreau (Jean Pierre) of New Brunswick, Nicole Leblanc (Patrick) of Whitby, Gilles, Yves (Roxanne), Marie (Nancy) all of Sturgeon Falls. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Blair, Melanie (Steve), Jennifer, Dan, Erik, Jessica, Maxine, Renée-Claude, Brigitte, Alexandre, Anik, André, Chloée and Emma Rose. Also survived by his brothers and sisters, Pierrette Aubin (Marcel), Pauline Aubin (Gaetan), Annette Welsh (late Marcel) all of Oakville and Lorraine Leblanc (late Fernand) of Hamilton, Françoise Albert (late Claude) of North Bay, Rénald (Jeannette) of Burlington, Robert (Line) and Lilianne Boisvenue (Léo) both of Sturgeon Falls. Predeceased by his sister Jeannine Boisvenue (late Roland). A tender and loving husband, a devoted and caring father, Florian will be remembered as a man of many talents, always willing to lend a helping hand. He was involved in his church, his community and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. The family will receive friends at the THÉORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Thursday May 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday May 15, 2009 at 10:30 a.m in Sacré Coeur church. Donations to the West Nipissing General Hospital Foundation (cancer services) would be appreciated. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Morrison and to the nursing staff at the West Nipissing General Hospital for the excellent care provided to Florian and his family.
