Mrs. Acton was born in Brunswick, Georgia to George William and Anne Felder LangOwens. She was the youngest of eight and the lastmember of her family. Shelived many years in Homewood where she raised herfamily and had lived in Montgomery for the past 30 years.She was a loving mother andgrandmother who will bemissed by all. She is preceded in death byher beloved husband, whomshe was married to for 50years, E. Ray Acton and herbeloved daughter AnneShort. Survivors include childrenKathleen Conly Acton, AmySandra Acton, Steven PatrickActon, Robert Alan Acton andRay Owens Acton, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
