Obituary of Eugene Henderson

Eugene McClain Henderson, 69, of 600 Hunts Bridge Road, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 12, 2004.A native of Martinsville, Va., he was a son of the late Roy Eugene and Jesse Mae Henderson. Mr. Henderson was the owner and operator of Henderson Plumbing Repair and Service Co. He was an Air Force veteran of theKorean War and a faithful member of Tabernacle Baptist Church where he formerly served as a deacon.Surviving are his wife, Martha Henderson, of the home; four sons, Steven Roy Henderson and Scotty Lee Henderson, both of Greenville, Stanton Eugene Henderson and his wife, Jennifer, of Greenville, Shawn Jason Henderson andhis wife, Annette, of Piedmont; two daughters, Sharon Jean Pace and her husband, Greg, of Dacusville, and Sonya Jill Goldenstar and her husband, Terry, of Travelers Rest; three brothers, Robert Henderson and Michael Henderson, both of Greenville and Charles Henderson of California; asister, Ann Moore, of Easley; seven grandchildren, Joel Henderson, Michael Brown, Devin Henderson, Aaron Henderson, Molly Goldenstar, Hannah Goldenstar and Dylan Henderson.Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Melvin Aiken. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West.Visitation: Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. in the sanctuary atTabernacle Baptist Church.The family is at the residence.Eugene was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his wife and family.
