Obituary of Ethel-Louise James

JAMES Ethel Louise James, age 89, of Bridgeport, entered eternal rest Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Astoria Park Nursing Home. She was previously employed at Bridgeport Metal Goods. Ethel was a member of West End Tabernacle C.M.E. Church. She was predeceased by two daughters, Rebecca Lamb and Allene James; four sisters and one brother. She leaves to cherish her loving memory one son, Thomas (Betty) James of Bridgeport; daughter, Mollie (Dennis) Alexander of Bridgeport; adopted daughter, Bertha Lee (Lucian) Rhodes of NC; special friend, Mike Froscello of Bridgeport; sister, Mary Melvin of Bridgeport; and a host of grandchildren, great-grand children, great-great grand children, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday 11 a.m. at West End Tabernacle C.M.E. Church, 265 Colorado Avenue, Bridgeport, with Reverend Regina Reese-Young, officiating. Interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery following the service. Friends are invited to the viewing Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the church. Morton's Mortuary 25 Margaret E.
